Jordan Graduating 1194 families from the beneficiary lists during 2025 due to improved living conditions

Khaberni - The General Director of the National Aid Fund, Khetam Shneikat, said that the Fund plays a pivotal role in achieving the principles of social justice through social protection programs that target poor families according to objective and transparent criteria, ensuring the fair distribution of support and the preservation of human dignity.

She pointed out that this concept is also reflected in the goals of the national strategy for social protection aimed at building a Jordanian society that lives with dignity and prosperity.

She added that the Fund practically translates social justice through its various programs, such as the unified cash support grants, which provide monthly cash support to the most needy families according to an objective and transparent targeting formula; this enabled the Fund to include more than 249,000 families in the recurrent cash support.

Shneikat explained that economic empowerment programs and shock response programs work together to raise the standard of living and enable families to gradually become independent of support, through building individual capacities and equipping them with practical skills that align with the labor market, and providing the minimum requirements for a decent life for families.

She noted that during the year 2025, the National Aid Fund graduated about 1,194 families from the beneficiary lists after their living conditions improved, affirming that these programs enhance social justice and economic sustainability.
