Peace Council Approves Donation Package for Gaza

Khaberni - The value of donations and financial contributions designated to support the Gaza sector exceeded 7 billion dollars, as announced during the meeting of the Peace Council held in Washington.

Today, Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump signed the financial contribution documents with the leaders participating in the meeting for the sector.

Trump explained that the donations were from a number of countries, while other nations will contribute by sending police forces to help stabilize Gaza, and additional countries will undertake the task of training and supporting the Palestinian police forces.

In his speech during the opening meeting of the Peace Council in Washington, Trump said, “Every dollar spent is an investment in stability and hope for a new and harmonious future, as it's an extremely important and vital region.”

He highlighted that the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs will work to raise an additional two billion dollars to support the sector, noting that Norway will host an event for the Peace Council, while Japan will organize another event to raise funds for the countries of the region.

Trump confirmed that this day is one of the most significant in his career, expressing his aspiration to work with world leaders in the coming years for peace, praising the commitments made to support Gaza.
