Khaberni - The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women said today, Friday, that more than 38,000 women and girls were martyred in Gaza between October 2022 and December 2025 due to aerial bombardment and the Israeli ground military aggression.
A report released by the entity today added that despite the ceasefire announced last October, reports indicate that the killings of women and girls have continued in recent months, confirming that the threats to their lives are still present.
The report mentioned that approximately 11,000 women and girls are disabled for life.
The report also noted that the actual number of victims is likely to be higher, as many bodies are still under the rubble, while the collapse of health information systems has significantly restricted the process of documenting deaths and injuries.
