Khaberni - The message from the Israeli ambassador directed to the Jordanians on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan gave the impression that he was in Amman, although his greeting was issued from Tel Aviv.
Ambassador Rogel Rahman is not present in Jordan, nor is he conducting his duties, since the year 2023 following the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi decided on November 1, to immediately summon the Jordanian ambassador in Israel back to Jordan as an expression of Jordan's rejection and condemnation of the raging Israeli war on Gaza, which kills the innocents, causes an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, and carries dangerous possibilities for escalation that could threaten the security of the entire region and international peace and security.
Safadi directed the concerned department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates to inform the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs not to return its ambassador who had left the kingdom previously.
Safadi clarified that the return of the ambassadors would be contingent on Israel stopping its war on Gaza, ending the humanitarian catastrophe it causes, and all its procedures that deprive Palestinians of their rights to food, water, medicine, and their right to live safely and stably on their national soil.
