Khaberni - Bayer Leverkusen has made significant progress towards reaching the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League, defeating their host Olympiacos 2-0 on Wednesday in the first leg of the qualifying play-offs.
The German team opened the scoring in the 60th minute with a goal by Patrik Schick, and the same player recorded a brace at the 63rd minute.
The second leg will be held next Tuesday in Germany.
