Prince William Reveals His Mental Health Secrets and Calls on Men Not to Remain Silent

Khaberni - Prince William surprised the audience of the "Life Hacks" program when he discussed his personal experiences with mental health and the tools he uses to cope with it.

During his talk with host Greg James and panel member, British rapper Professor Green, the Prince emphasized the need for male role models to speak openly about mental health.

William said: "Learn to love and understand yourself," stressing the importance of pausing to recognize our feelings and their causes.

The British Crown Prince explained that mental health crises, despite their difficulty, are often temporary, and understanding our emotions is a fundamental part of maintaining mental health.

The Prince described his approach as similar to a personal "toolbox," noting that no one possesses all the tools necessary to face life's challenges.

He added, "I like to look for new tools to add to my toolbox as needed," encouraging others to seek support from friends or professionals and to consider discussions about mental health as normal.

He also spoke about his efforts to combat suicide among men, drawing on his experience as an air ambulance pilot, where he witnessed the devastating impact of suicide on families.

William holds the position of patron of James’ Place and other organizations that provide support and counseling to men.

In a touching moment, the Prince recalled a film he made with Riean Manning, who lost her husband to suicide, where William appeared moved as he spoke with her, emphasizing the importance of communication and support: "It’s tough... and I've also experienced loss," as Riean mentioned, referring to the Prince’s experience with grief.
