Khaberni - The Court of Cassation (the highest judicial body in Jordan) upheld a previous ruling issued by the Grand Criminal Court last September, which ordered the execution of a Jordanian woman who killed her father in the city of Russeifa, after being convicted of the intentional murder of a family member.
Crime Details:
In the previous month of August, the father divorced his wife, and the accused remained living with her brother in the father's house.
On the day of the crime, the girl had locked herself in, prompting her father to knock on the door out of concern and ask her to come out. A dispute arose between them, and the accused retrieved a knife and directly stabbed her father in the chest, hitting his heart and causing his immediate death.
