Khaberni - The Jordan Water Authority / Ministry of Water and Irrigation, and Jordan Water Company "Miyahuna" carried out a campaign to remove assaults on water sources in Muwaqqar, south of Amman.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Water on Wednesday, a total of four 2-inch violations on the main transmission line were disconnected. These were used for filling tanks and selling to factories and citizens in a manner violating the laws for supplying farms and filling water tanks, and the violations were removed.
In detail, based on the available information, a security campaign was coordinated early on Tuesday morning in the area of Muwaqqar / south of the capital Amman. Technical teams from the ministry and Miyahuna company, accompanied by security forces, controlled the assaults, disconnected the lines, and prepared the necessary reports for the incident. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend the assailants and refer them to the competent judicial authorities.
