After her body was found in a hotel What is the story behind the death of the producer of the Israeli series Tehran

Khaberni- The Greek police found the producer Dana Eden, producer of the Israeli series "Tehran", dead in her room at a hotel in Athens.
The authorities concerned started investigating the incident, which initial findings suggest resulted from an attempted suicide using a telephone cord.

The body was discovered on Sunday evening after communication with her was not possible by one of her relatives, in a room she was staying at inside a hotel near Syntagma Square in the center of the city.

The spokesperson for the Greek police reported that security forces headed to the incident site around 8:15 PM, and found a large quantity of pills on the bedside table, while the authorities requested an autopsy of the body and review of surveillance cameras, noting that the marks visible on the neck suggest an attempt at suicide using a telephone cord.

The production company "Dona and Shula Productions" issued a statement confirming that the rumors circulating about a criminal death or nationalistic motives are unfounded, and called on the media and the public to refrain from spreading unproven claims.

Dana Eden, who was 52 years old, had arrived in Athens on February 4th to shoot the fourth season of the famous espionage series which is shown on the "Apple TV" platform, after its first three seasons were also filmed in Athens, where the story revolves around Mossad agent Tamar Rabinyan who infiltrates the Iranian capital.

The shooting of the fourth season was postponed following the outbreak of war in the Gaza Strip after the October 7th, 2023 attack, noting that the series won the American Emmy Award for Best Drama Series in 2021, and is considered one of the most globally widespread Israeli productions.
