Khaberni - The Revolutionary Guard announced on Saturday that it targeted a ship linked to Israel in the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in a fire breaking out on it.
The Revolutionary Guard Navy stated in a publication on platform X that "a drone hit the ship in the Strait of Hormuz, and a fire erupted on the ship," noting that its name is "MSC Ishyka" (MSC Ishyka).
The war of Iran broke out on February 28, 2026, following extensive aerial bombardments by the United States and Israel as part of operations "Epic Wrath" and "Lion's Roar", targeting vital and military installations and command centers in Tehran and several other cities, leading to the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on the first day, along with a number of senior officials and leaders, including the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, and prominent commanders in the Revolutionary Guard.
In response, Iran launched operation "True Promise 4", deploying hundreds of missiles and drones towards Israel and countries in the region, along with closing the Strait of Hormuz, causing a spike in energy prices.
The war extended to Lebanon on March 2, after Hezbollah launched rockets at Israel following the assassination of Ali Khamenei, to which Israel retaliated with extensive airstrikes and a ground invasion into the south.
