Two Martyrs in Two Israeli Raids in Southern Lebanon

Khaberni - The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of two Lebanese citizens in two raids carried out by the Israeli army on the towns of Hanin and Talousa in southern Lebanon.
A Lebanese security source told a reporter of "Petra" in Beirut "that the Israeli army is bombing several Lebanese towns with heavy calibers, causing the destruction of several homes".
The source stated "that the Lebanese army established two main points in the town of Adaisseh on the border, opposite the border gate at (Miskaf Am) and the second opposite the newly established Israeli site in the reserve area south of the town".
On another front, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, announced today in Beirut "that Germany, after the end of UNIFIL's (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) duties at the end of this year, will remain alongside Lebanon".
At a press conference held at the end of talks he had with Lebanese officials, he said: "Our interest lies in the stability of the region, and implementing the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel is an opportunity to achieve this. He pointed out that "the federal government has stated several times that it rejects a permanent occupation of Lebanese lands, which is unacceptable and must end, and this is also what we say in Israel".
