Khaberni - A decision was issued in the Official Gazette on Monday by the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission stating that the candidate for the youth category, Hamza Hani Mohammed Khalil (Al-Toubasi), is the one following the candidate Mohammed Ahmed Ali Al-Jarrah from the Workers' Party list.
The text of the decision confirmed the removal of the membership of MP Mohammed Ahmed Ali Al-Jarrah from the Workers' Party register and its cancellation from the political parties' register by the commission in compliance with the High Administrative Court's decision, explaining that Al-Jarrah lost his membership in the House of Representatives based on the decision.
The text of the decision is as follows:
"Based on the provisions of the Constitution, the House of Representatives Election Law No. "4" of 2022 and its amendments, the Political Parties Law No. 7 of 2022, the Independent Election Commission Law No. 11 of 2012 and its amendments, and the memoranda submitted by the Secretary of the Political Parties Register and the Director of Electoral Operations at the Commission, the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission decided in its Resolution No. 4/2026 issued on 11/2/2026, as follows:
First: Remove the membership of MP Mohammed Ahmed Ali Al-Jarrah from the Workers' Party register and drop him from the political parties' register at the authority in compliance with the High Administrative Court's decision No. (2025/574) issued on the date of 11/2/2026, thereby losing his membership in the House of Representatives.
Second: Based on Article (58/A/3) of the House of Representatives Election Law, and referring to the nomination request for the Workers' Party list submitted at the Directorate of Electoral Operations in the Commission, consider the candidate for the youth category, Hamza Hani Mohammed Khalil, as the one following the candidate Mohammed Ahmed Ali Al-Jarrah from the same Workers' Party list."
