Khaberni - The College of Nursing held the first meeting of the Advisory Council for the Ahliyya Amman University Center for Health Training for the academic year 2025 / 2026, chaired by Prof. Dr. Khaldoun Hamdan, head of the council and dean of the College of Nursing / center director, with the presence of the advisory council members: Prof. Dr. Ahmad Hamdan, Vice President for Academic Affairs / Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Iyad Shaaban / Vice President for Accreditation, Quality and Planning - Director of the Human Resources and Institutional Development Unit, Prof. Dr. Ghaleb Ereqat / Dean of the College of Medical Support Sciences, Dr. Arwa Al-Khatib / Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Ayman Ghattasheh / Regional Trainer for the American Heart Association, Mr. Luai Sahawneh / Director of the Specialized Training Center - Specialized Hospital, Mrs. Aisha Damra / Director of Technical Affairs at the Jordanian Nursing Council.
The meeting focused on a number of important axes, notably presenting the strategic plan and the implementation plan for the center for the year 2025 / 2026, reviewing the achievements of the center for the previous year 2024 / 2025, in addition to discussing future plans and the most prominent developmental proposals, which contributes to advancing the level of training programs and enhancing their outcomes.
This meeting underlines the university's commitment to enhancing partnership with experts and specialists, and developing the health training system to meet the needs of the job market and elevate professional competencies.
