Khaberni - While social media sites recently circulated news about the death of the Egyptian media doctor Hossam Mowafi, his son Hatem confirmed that his father is in good and stable health, and denied the recently circulated rumors about his health deterioration.
Good health
He explained, in a post on his Facebook account, that his father is in good health and continues his work normally, pointing out that the rumors circulating on some social media pages caused concern among family members and his loved ones, without being based on any official source.
Health scare
For his part, Dr. Hossam Mowafi confirmed that his health is good, and denied rumors about being affected by a health scare.
And he added in a post on his Facebook account: «My dear followers, my children and beloved students, I thank you for your kind feelings, sincere interest, and care for confirming on my well-being. I would like to reassure everyone that by the grace of God and His praise, I am in good health, and I pray that God protects you all from any harm. I am also pleased to congratulate you on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, asking the Almighty to make it a month of goodness, blessing, health, and well-being for us all. Stay well».
Dr. Hossam Mowafi is one of the most prominent professors of critical care medicine in Egypt, and he enjoys a wide fan base thanks to his medical and media career that has spanned years, making any news related to him of broad interest to the public.
