Symptoms That May Indicate Heart Problems

Khaberni - Dr. Alexei Alexeienko, a cardiology specialist, points out that chronic fatigue, frailty, and weakness may be symptoms of heart and vascular disease.

According to him, to detect heart diseases, it is necessary to pay attention to symptoms that appear for the first time.

He says: "For example, the feeling of chronic fatigue, exhaustion, and weakness, i.e., when usual physical activity becomes difficult. Secondly, the appearance of symptomatic conditions such as pain and discomfort in the chest, specifically in the sternum area or pain below the sternum."

He adds: "Usually, the patient indicates this pain by placing his fist on the middle of his chest. This pain may extend to the left arm, usually below the left shoulder blade, or to the neck, or to the lower jaw. This pain is usually accompanied by physical or emotional stress, meaning it rarely occurs during rest."

In addition, the feeling of shortness of breath during physical exertion can be a concerning symptom. However, if shortness of breath occurs for the first time, it necessitates a doctor's review to determine the cause.

According to him, any feeling of irregular heartbeat should also be a cause for concern.

He says: "Any irregular heartbeat. When measuring blood pressure at home using a blood pressure monitor, it will show that the pulse is irregular, meaning there is an arrhythmia. This also necessitates a doctor's review."
