Khaberni - Just 15 seconds altered the future of global cinema, as these shots were not a scene leaked from a big-budget action film, but the result of entering "two script prompts" by Irish director Roarke Robinson inside a Chinese artificial intelligence model called "Seedance 2.0".
The experiment resulted in an incredibly realistic physical showdown between Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt atop a roof, a confrontation long deemed impossible to produce even by the largest cinema studios before AI managed to achieve it in moments.
Hollywood In Panic
This video, which spread like wildfire across social media platforms, did not go unnoticed by Hollywood decision-makers. Prominent scriptwriter Rhett Reese, known for smash hits like (Deadpool & Wolverine) and (Zombieland), expressed his deep shock in a series of posts the entertainment press described as a "lament".
Reese said unequivocally: "I hate to say it, but it might all be over for us".
Despite some mocking the video's quality, Reese warned about the speed of development: "Very soon, a single person sitting behind a computer could produce a movie indistinguishable from what Hollywood produces today... the work might be poor if the creator lacks talent, but imagine if this person had the taste and talent of Christopher Nolan? The results would be both amazing and frightening."
The Rights Struggle between Cinema and AI
While creators worry about their jobs, legal bodies have been busy protecting intellectual property, with the American Cinema Association (MPA) launching a scathing attack on the Chinese company "ByteDance" – owner of the TikTok app and developer of the Seedance 2.0 model – accusing it of blatant copyright infringement.
Charles Rivkin, president of the association, stated that the Chinese company is using protected works extensively without permission, describing it as a disregard for laws supporting millions of American jobs.
Rivkin demanded an immediate cessation of these "infringing activities", signaling that the upcoming battle will not be on rooftops as in the video, but in international courtrooms.
A global race led by China
In China, the new model Seedance 2.0 has achieved success beyond expectations, where users compared it to the "DeepSeek" model that shocked the world in early 2025. It also received widespread acclaim both inside and outside China, with American billionaire Elon Musk praising the rapid development of this technology.
Users on Chinese platforms shared long clips produced by the model, displaying advanced capabilities in creating complex cinematic scenes, reinforcing the belief that AI video production represents "the next frontier" in technological advancement.
With the continuous rapid development of artificial intelligence, it seems that the film industry indeed stands at a historic turning point that may redefine the very meaning of creativity, posing a critical question: Will AI be a partner or a substitute for artists?
