Khaberni - An Israeli official said on Saturday that Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar will attend the first meeting of the Peace Council held by US President Donald Trump on February 19.
Trump announced the creation of the "Peace Council" at the Davos forum in Switzerland in January.
The administration of US President Donald Trump has asked countries wishing to obtain a permanent seat at the newly proposed "Peace Council" to contribute at least one billion dollars.
According to the draft charter of the Peace Council, President Trump will serve as the chair of the council as its first president, and he decides who gets invited to be members of the council, with decisions being made by a majority vote, where each attending member state has one vote, with all decisions subject to the president's approval.
Many world leaders have received an invitation to attend the inaugural meeting of the "Peace Council" formed by Trump.
Two senior US officials said that President Donald Trump will announce a plan to reconstruct Gaza with billions of dollars and will detail plans related to the stability force approved by the United Nations for the Palestinian sector during the first official meeting of the Peace Council.
