Son of the Shah Calls for Trumps Military Intervention in Iran

Khaberni - Iranian opposition figure Reza Pahlavi said today, Saturday, that American military intervention in his country "could save lives", and urged President Donald Trump's administration not to prolong negotiations with Iranian rulers regarding the nuclear deal.

The deposed Shah of Iran's son said in an interview: "There are indications that the Iranian government is on the brink of collapse," adding that "launching an attack could weaken it, or hasten its fall."

Pahlavi made these comments on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, which bans Iranian government officials from attending.

Reza Pahlavi, who resides in the United States and has lived outside of Iran since his father was overthrown in the Islamic Revolution in 1979, said: "It's a matter of time. We hope that this attack will accelerate the process and that the people will finally be able to return to the streets, advancing until the regime ultimately falls."
