Shocking Scandal A Soldier Reveals Iran Strike Date on a Gambling Website

Khaberni - In a bizarre incident that caused an uproar in Israel, a reservist used secret and sensitive information for gambling, making financial profits through a betting website.

The Israeli authorities announced today, Thursday, that charges have been pressed against a citizen and a reservist suspected of using secret information to bet on military operations through the "PolyMarket" online site.

The Ministry of Defense, the Internal Security Service (Shin Bet), and the Israeli Police stated in a declaration that after a joint operation, several suspects were apprehended recently for suspected involvement in gambling on the site, according to Reuters.

It was added that it is suspected "that this was based on secret information accessed by reservist soldiers during their military duties."

Furthermore, the Attorney General's office has decided to charge them with committing serious security crimes, as well as charges related to bribery and obstruction of justice.

The Israeli media revealed that the case is probably linked to an investigation regarding an anonymous user's bet that Israel would bomb Iran on the Friday it did so in June 2025.

Although the Israeli military confirmed that "the investigation results indicated that no operational damage occurred". However, it mentioned that there was “a serious ethical failure and a clear crossing of a red line, which does not align with the values of the Israeli Defense Forces and what is expected of its members.”

It was added that criminal and disciplinary actions will be taken against any party proven to be involved in such acts.

No further details about the investigation or the identities of those involved were available due to a publication ban imposed by the Israeli authorities.

It is noted that Israel had suddenly bombed the interior of Iran on Friday, June 13 last year, while the sixth round of nuclear negotiations between Tehran and Washington was expected to take place in Muscat, which constituted a sudden attack on the Iranian authorities.
