Khaberni - Yazan Al-Arab, the defender for the Jordanian national football team, is still without a club to this date, training by himself, without yet having determined his next move whether to renew his contract with South Korean FC Seoul or to leave.
Yazan Al-Arab's absence from the fields these days has raised many questions amongst Jordanian football fans, especially as the player must maintain his readiness at all times with the countdown to Jordan's participation in the 2026 World Cup finals, according to "Win Win".
Despite leaks here and there about receiving European offers or offers from Saudi clubs, all that is circulating are just speculations with no basis, as Yazan Al-Arab's next destination remains unknown to date.
Does Yazan Al-Arab, the defender for the Jordanian national team, feel regret?
The answer to this question does not require much thought, as the player certainly expected that he would be flooded with offers in recent weeks, especially since he desires to leave the South Korean league, but in exchange, to transition to stronger and better leagues whether in Europe or the Gulf. Hence, there is no doubt that he feels a mixture of confusion mixed with surprise and astonishment.
And no doubt, after shining in the past two seasons with FC Seoul and being recently chosen as part of the best lineup in the South Korean league, and scoring a historic goal against Barcelona in a friendly match against his team, he had envisioned ambitions different from what he's experiencing now. He expected that professional offers would flood in from every direction.
Perhaps Yazan Al-Arab has been overlooked despite many knowing his defensive capabilities and skills, as he didn’t participate in the Arab Cup held in Qatar. Most stars from the Jordan team who announced new professional paths were those who excelled in this competition like Oday Al-Fakhouri, Ali Alwan, Nizar Al-Rashdan, and Amer Jamous, and the list goes on.
And there is no doubt that Club FC Seoul, which wishes to renew Al-Arab's contract, knowing well his technical value, has presented him with a better financial offer than before, and this is a good option. However, it seems the player has exhausted his capabilities in the Korean league after two seasons of play, as the different conditions there including time difference, customs, and the long travel for matches, are enough to tire any player and push him to seek a better next destination, both technically and financially.
It is expected that Yazan Al-Arab will join the training camp of the Nsha'mi team in March, which takes place during the FIFA days where his technical and physical readiness will be enhanced, given that he has not played any official matches for a considerable time.
