Khaberni - Ziad Ashish of the national boxing team has qualified for the finals of the ongoing Asian Championship in Mongolia, ensuring either a gold or silver medal for Jordan in the competition.
Ziad Ashish's qualification for the final came after his victory on Monday against the Japanese player Siwan Okazawa in the semifinal match for the under 70 kg category.
Ashish had previously secured two victories in the tournament before achieving his third win today, reaching the final match.
The national boxing team is expected to win more than one medal at this Asian championship.
