Khaberni - A family dispute in Egypt turned into a bloody tragedy after a wife stabbed her husband to death following an argument about the priority of charging a mobile phone.
The incident occurred in the city of October 6 in Giza Governorate, provoking widespread shock in the local community.
According to security and prosecutorial sources, the conflict began when the couple discovered that both of their phone batteries were about to run out, and a debate ensued about who would use the charger first. It quickly escalated from a verbal argument to a physical scuffle.
The Egyptian police received a report of a violent altercation in a residential apartment. When a security force moved to the location, they found the husband, aged 40, dead in the bedroom with a fatal stab wound.
