Khaberni - Fares Abu Dhiab, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Transport, discussed on Thursday with representatives from the industrial cities and the Amman Chamber of Industry, the mechanisms to provide and expand public transport services to the cities and industrial areas, focusing primarily on Al Qastal Industrial City.
The meeting, attended by specialists from the Ministry of Transport and the Land Transport Authority, discussed the current state of transport services available to workers in industrial cities, their real needs in terms of the number of lines, frequencies, and bus routes, in a way that facilitates the arrival of workers, reduces costs and travel time, and supports the continuity of industrial activity.
An agreement was made to prepare a study that includes various alternatives and the possibility of implementing the most suitable ones in the upcoming period.
