Khaberni - The Faculty of Pharmacy at Zaytouna University of Jordan has obtained the renewal of the American International Accreditation from the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) for the Bachelor's program in Pharmacy for a period of six years, which is the longest period for American accreditation.
The President of Zaytouna University of Jordan, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Majali, stated that the renewal of this American accreditation will provide an additional incentive to maintain excellence in the quality of education and positively influence the employment opportunities for graduates, and that the university is committed to continuing its efforts to achieve global excellence in academic education and scientific research, through supporting innovation and providing students with unique educational and research opportunities.
The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Alaa Al-Hasban, clarified that the American Accreditation Authority (ACPE) is the highest accreditation body in the United States, pointing out that this achievement is the fruit of the joint efforts of the faculty, administrative staff, and students, which thus enhances the role of the pharmacy profession in the medical sector by offering mastery and excellence in community service and excellence in pharmacy education and development.
It is worth mentioning that the Faculty of Pharmacy was among the first colleges to receive American accreditation ACPE since the year 2020 , and the first to obtain the Quality Assurance Certificate issued by the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Authority in year 2017 .
