Khaberni - 5 people were killed last night and at dawn and this Thursday morning, in shootings that occurred in Arab towns within the 48 territories.
Murder crimes are escalating in the Arab community, amid accusations of negligence by the Israeli police and their collusion with organized crime gangs.
Hours before these crimes, a man was killed in the town of Al-Fureidis due to a shooting that occurred on Wednesday evening, raising the death toll in the Arab community since the beginning of this year to 42.
In the early morning hours, the young man Farid Abu Mubarak (20 years old) from the town of Shaqib al-Salam in the Negev was killed following a shooting incident.
Dawn today, the young Mukhtar Abu Madighem (22 years old), son of the former mayor of Rahat, was found shot dead in his vehicle in the city of Rahat.
A few hours later, another murder occurred in the town of Yirka, where a man in his forties was shot and his death was confirmed on the spot by emergency crews.
Later, Sheikh Najib Hamad Abu Rish was announced killed in cold blood by gunfire while he was on his way to work, in a crime that sparked a wave of shock and anger in Yirka.
In the city of Lod, Hussein Saleh Abu Ruwaik (60 years old) was reported killed by gunfire.
Since the beginning of this year, 42 Arab citizens have been killed, including 12 since the beginning of this month, and 26 killed during January.
The year 2025 recorded an unprecedented death toll in murder crimes, with 252 Arabs killed, amid accusations of negligence by the Israeli police and collusion with organized crime, and their failure to provide security and safety for Arab citizens.
