Southern Report Kim Prepares to Pass Power to His Daughter

Khaberni - The South Korean National Intelligence Agency stated that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is preparing to pass the power to his daughter Kim Ju Ae.

According to the "Yonhap" agency, members of the parliamentary intelligence committee, Park Sung-won, a representative of the United Democratic Party, and Lee Sung-gwon, a representative of the People's Power Party, reported during a media briefing that this information was presented in a closed committee meeting held on February 12th.

Lee Sung-goon clarified: "Kim Ju-ai continues her prominent presence at events such as the recent Army Day celebrations and visits to the Kumsusan Palace, and there are indications that she is involved in discussing certain political decisions, which suggests that she has entered the stage of successor selection."

The intelligence agency announced that it plans to closely monitor the involvement of Kim Ju-ai in events of the ninth congress of the Workers' Party, scheduled to be held in February.

Lee Sun-gwon noted that the representatives asked questions about the status of Kim Ju-ai during the meeting, and that the phrasing of the national intelligence agency has changed compared to previous reports.

He added: "Previously, the national intelligence agency used the term 'training a successor,' but today it uses the term 'successor designation stage.'

As the agency indicates, Kim Ju-ai accompanied Kim Jong-un and his wife, Ri Sol-ju, in a visit to the Kumsusan Palace earlier this year.

This was her first public participation in a ceremony held at the mausoleum of former North Korean leaders, which experts interpreted as a potential political signal related to the succession issue.
