Trump Iran will not have nuclear weapons and missiles

Khaberni - President Donald Trump said that the Iranians "are very keen on reaching a deal," stressing that his country will either reach an agreement or "will have to take very harsh steps."

Trump explained in an interview with Israel's Channel 12 on Tuesday, that he is considering sending an additional aircraft carrier to the region, along with other military reinforcements, emphasizing that Iran "will not possess nuclear weapons or missiles."

The US President added that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "also wants to reach a deal, but a good deal."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that his talks with the US President will focus on negotiations with Iran, in the context of his efforts to persuade Washington to adopt a tougher stance towards Tehran's ballistic missile program.

The meeting scheduled to take place on Wednesday the 6th will be the second between the two men since Trump's return to the White House at the beginning of last year, with their last meeting held in Jerusalem last October.

The meeting follows days of negotiations between Iran and the United States in Oman, after which Trump announced a second round to follow.

The meeting also coincides with the escalation of international reactions to Israeli measures aimed at deepening control over the occupied West Bank, especially by allowing Israelis to buy land in the West Bank and weakening the Palestinian Authority.
