Khaberni - Residents of the town of Uyayna in Al-Balqa Governorate complained about people picking the gundelia plant in the areas surrounding the town.
The complainants mentioned that minibuses carrying people coming from the northern governorates trade in gundelia after uprooting it from Uyayna and its surroundings, and they uproot the rare plant from its roots which threatens its extinction and disappearance from their area.
