Khaberni - The joint field campaigns to monitor and control violations of the residence, work, and border security regulations, which were conducted in all regions of Saudi Arabia from 29/01/2026 to 04/02/2026, resulted in the detection of 20,237 violators.
The statistics indicated that among those detained were 12,687 violators of the residence system, 4,318 violators of the border security system, and 3,232 violators of the employment system.
A total of 1,555 individuals were caught during their attempts to cross the borders into the kingdom, with Yemenis making up 40% and Ethiopians 57%, while other nationalities represented 3%. Additionally, 61 individuals were caught trying to cross the borders out of the kingdom in an irregular manner.
Also, 32 individuals were caught involved in transporting, sheltering, and employing violators of the residence, work, and border security regulations, and hiding them.
The total number of violators currently undergoing the procedures of implementing the regulations is 23,807, including 21,926 men and 1,881 women.
Furthermore, 16,805 violators were referred to their diplomatic missions to complete obtaining travel documents, 2,437 violators to complete their travel bookings, while 11,656 violators were deported.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that anyone facilitating the entry of violators of the border security system into the kingdom, or transporting them within it, or providing them shelter, or offering them any assistance or service in any form, exposes themselves to penalties including imprisonment for up to 15 years and a fine of up to one million Riyals, in addition to the confiscation of the transport means and the housing used for sheltering, and defamation.
It was clarified that these acts are considered major crimes that warrant arrest, and breach of honor and trust, urging to report any violation cases through the number (911) in Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and through the numbers (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions.
