Khaberni - Andrea Catellani, the sports director for Modena, Italian, outlined the attributes of the Algerian-origin player Yanis Masoulin, who signed with Italian Inter Milan during the last transfer window.
The defensive midfielder was tied with a contract to "Nerazzurri", but the latter's administration decided to let him continue his journey with Modena until the end of the current season, after which he will join the blue and black giant next season.
The sports director of Modena spoke to "Corriere dello Sport" about Masoulin saying: "He is tall, but very strong technically, he also has clear intelligence on the field, and he is adept at moving with and without the ball."
He added: "There are two well-known players he can be compared to, firstly, the Frenchman Adrien Rabiot, in terms of height and technique, and then Josip Ilicic in terms of the ability to perform defensive and offensive roles simultaneously."
He further added: "Naturally, there are many points that he needs to improve on, as he remains a long-term investment for Inter, and he will undoubtedly be an asset to them in the coming years."
He concluded: "Masoulin, given his physical build and technical capabilities, is a rare player, you don’t find elements with his characteristics every day, which makes him an ideal bet for his new club."
A shocking scenario makes Maza's injury "terrifying" despite not being serious
It should be noted that Masoulin is only 23 years old and has never represented any team at the youth level, making him an important option for the Algerian Football Federation in the near future.
