Khaberni - American President Donald Trump described the elections in his country as rigged and stolen, calling for an overhaul of the election system.
Trump, via his platform "Truth Social," stated that the American elections are rigged, stolen, and mocked globally, and he demanded voter identification and proof of American citizenship for voter registration.
He also called for stopping mail-in voting with exceptions including illness, disability, military service, or travel.
Last Monday, the American President urged Republican Party members to take control of the voting process in at least 15 locations and encouraged them to "nationalize the voting process," whereby federal authorities would oversee elections.
Voting Centers Controversy
In this context, the White House stated that President Donald Trump has not discussed any official plans to deploy Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents at polling centers during the upcoming midterm elections in November, but he did not rule out their presence near voting centers.
Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon claimed that people living illegally in the United States are voting in large numbers. He said in a podcast, "We will have Immigration and Customs Enforcement surround the polling centers in November."
In response to a question about Bannon's comments, White House spokeswoman Carolaine Levitt said, "I cannot guarantee that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents won't be around the polling centers in November, but what I can say is that I haven't heard the president discuss any official plans to deploy them at polling places."
Federal law prohibits the president from deploying military forces at any place where general or special elections are held, and several states criminalize the carrying of firearms at or near polling places.
Over the past months, Democrats have expressed fears that Trump might deploy forces at polling centers to intimidate voters and interfere with the November elections, which will determine who controls Congress.
