Khaberni - Gold prices fell in spot transactions by 2.3% to $4659.99 per ounce.
Silver also continued its decline in spot transactions on Friday, falling 8.9% to $64.88 per ounce at 00:09 GMT.
Just last week, silver had reached a record high of $121.64.
