Israeli Occupation Army Arrest of Two Young Men on Suspicion of Spying for Iran

Khaberni - The Israeli occupation security agencies announced on Thursday the arrest of two citizens in their twenties, on suspicion of espionage with Iranian intelligence entities.

The official statement clarified that the detainees, who are residents of the Jerusalem area, carried out security tasks in exchange for financial amounts, despite being fully aware of the identity of the employing party, where they were transferred to court in preparation to present serious indictments against them.

Espionage in exchange for "electronic wallets"
The Hebrew site "Walla" revealed that the operation of arresting the young men took place last month, but the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court only allowed today's news to be published.

The investigations indicated that the detainees received money through "electronic wallets" to disguise the source of the payment, in exchange for collecting information and carrying out tasks on behalf of Tehran inside the occupation.

Context of Repeated Iranian Attempts
This case comes as part of a series of arrests recently announced by the occupation, where Tel Aviv accuses Iran of working diligently to recruit its citizens for espionage purposes.

The tasks assigned to detainees in previous cases included photographing sensitive civil and military sites, reflecting the escalation of the shadow intelligence war between the two sides.
