Khaberni - Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, the President of the Jordan Olympic Committee, was re-elected as a member of the International Olympic Committee yesterday, Wednesday, during the 145th session of the committee which was held in Milan, Italy.
The General Assembly of the International Olympic Committee decided to renew the membership of Prince Faisal for an additional period of eight years, demonstrating confidence in his role in supporting and developing the Olympic movement at both regional and international levels.
This decision comes shortly after his election as a member of the Senate at the International Automobile Federation (FIA), as a clear indication of the growing international confidence in his leadership role and influential status within global sports institutions, and his ability to contribute to shaping sports policies at the highest levels.
The renewal of Prince Faisal's membership in the International Olympic Committee is a fresh testament to his active presence within the global Olympic system, and his role in supporting and developing the Olympic movement regionally and internationally.
