Shock for Dr Food and His Wife

Khaberni - The management of one social media platform proceeded to close the accounts of Lebanese businessman and content creator George Hanna Deeb, known as "Dr. Food", and his wife Shorouk, without issuing an official clarification explaining the reasons for this action, which has sparked controversy and dissatisfaction among their followers.

The decision came suddenly, after the public noticed the complete disappearance of both accounts from the platform, without prior warning or notices of any violations, which led to widespread questions about the reasons and motives behind the closure.

Soon, followers of Dr. Food expressed their anger about the decision, considering it unjustified, and called on the platform management to clarify the reasons or to reactivate the accounts, especially since the content provided by the duo falls within the dietary and entertainment framework and does not contain, in their opinion, anything that violates the accepted usage policies.

As of now, the reasons for the closure remain unknown, in the absence of any official statement from Meta, the company that owns the platform, which specifies the nature of the action or clarifies whether it is permanent or temporary.

George Hanna Deeb, known by the nickname "Dr. Food," is one of the most prominent social media celebrities in Lebanon and the Arab world. He began his content creation journey in 2015, by posting videos focused on evaluating restaurants and meals, and then achieved widespread popularity due to his distinctive and innovative style, allowing him to garner millions of followers across various platforms.

Besides his digital activity, Deeb owns a confectionery production factory and exports his products to several countries, particularly in the Arab world. He is also known for his significant influence in evaluating foods served in Lebanese and foreign restaurants, and in their management styles.

Dr. Food, along with his wife Shorouk, provides diverse daily content that includes innovative recipes, field visits to restaurants, and various tasting experiences with their opinions, enhancing their status as some of the leading content creators in the food sector on social media platforms.
