Khaberni - Amman Ahliyya University participated in the UNIMED Week events held in the Belgian capital, Brussels, which is one of the most prominent annual events organized by the Mediterranean Universities Union (UNIMED), with the participation of universities, decision-makers, and international institutions, aimed at enhancing academic cooperation between Europe and the Mediterranean region.
The university's participation was part of its efforts to enhance its international presence and expand its global academic partnerships, in accordance with its strategy to support internationalization and openness to international educational institutions.
Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of Amman Ahliyya University, was part of the official delegation at the UNIMED board meeting, where he contributed to strategic discussions and decision-making processes related to the union's directions and future programs.
The university delegation included Dr. Firouz Abu Sweilem, Director of the Global Liaison Center, and Engineer Ahmad Al-Hourani, Director of the Marketing and Communications Unit, who participated in the UNIMED Week sessions and various activities, alongside networking meetings, supporting the university’s efforts in expanding its international relations network and enhancing joint academic cooperation.
On the sidelines of the event, Amman Ahliyya University signed two international memoranda of understanding, the first with Sabha University in Libya, and the second with the Marangoni Institute in Italy, aiming to enhance academic and research cooperation, and expand exchange and training programs between academic institutions.
