Amman Arab University Pharmacy organizes the fourth Ramadan Charity Breakfast for Orphan Children

Khaberni - Embodiment of the role of Amman Arab University in serving the local community and establishing a culture of volunteer work, the Faculty of Pharmacy at the university organized the fourth Ramadan charity breakfast for orphan children, as part of a series of humanitarian initiatives implemented by the faculty during the blessed month of Ramadan, aimed at supporting less fortunate groups and enhancing the values of solidarity and mercy in the community.

During this initiative, the Faculty of Pharmacy hosted more than (45) orphaned children from the Sowayleh orphan care center, where they organized a communal Ramadan breakfast in a humane atmosphere filled with warmth and the spirit of giving. The event included a diverse program of recreational and interactive activities aimed at bringing joy and happiness to the children and putting smiles on their faces, embodying the noble values of the blessed month of Ramadan and enhancing the concepts of social solidarity and mercy. The program also included a number of entertainment activities including face painting, interactive games with balloons, along with a collection of group activities, in addition to distributing gifts, toys, sweets, and Eid clothing to the participating children, reflecting the highest meanings of humanitarian solidarity, and contributing to bringing joy and happiness to the hearts of the children and creating an atmosphere of joy for them.

This event was organized with the participation of Professor Dr. Rana Abu Huweij, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and a number of faculty and administrative members of the college, along with a group from the Pharmacy College Student Club, who contributed exceptional efforts in preparing for this initiative and organizing its various segments, and interacting directly with the children, reflecting the spirit of volunteer work and enhancing the values of belonging and community responsibility. Abu Huweij affirmed that organizing these humanitarian initiatives aligns with the mission of Amman Arab University to enhance its role in serving the community and establishing the values of solidarity and mercy, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan, indicating that such activities contribute to the development of a culture of giving and volunteer work among students, and enhance their connection to the local community and their sense of responsibility towards its issues.

It is worth mentioning that the Faculty of Pharmacy at Amman Arab University also prepared and distributed (25) Ramadan parcels containing essential food and provisions to a number of beneficiaries from the university staff, in an initiative that reflects the spirit of brotherhood and social solidarity that the blessed month of Ramadan establishes.
