Khaberni - A large fire broke out today, Tuesday, in a market in west Tehran, according to official Iranian media, while the cause is still unknown.
The spokesperson for Tehran's fire department, Jalal Maliki, stated on state television, "The fire broke out in a local market in Jannat Abad, a neighborhood that houses a large number of shops and stalls."
He added, "The fire is so massive that it can be seen from various parts of the city."
The Iranian television reported that the firefighters immediately went to the site of the fire to control the flames.
The footage showed dense columns of black smoke rising into the sky and covering the area surrounding the site of the fire.
