Students of the Department of Architectural Engineering in Arab Amman Discuss Graduation Projects in line with Digital Transform

Khaberni - Within the efforts of the College of Engineering at Arab Amman University to achieve its vision and its message in preparing distinguished engineering cadres capable of keeping up with scientific and technological developments and serving the community, and following the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammed Al-Widian, the president of the university, and under the supervision of Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, the dean of the College of Engineering, the students of the Department of Architectural Engineering discussed their graduation projects, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Hanan Ahmad, a faculty member at the College of Engineering, in the presence of faculty and administrative members and students of the college.

The evaluation committee, composed of Dr. Farouk Yagmour and Engineer Bashar Al-Baytar, praised the advanced scientific and intellectual level of the projects presented, appreciating the significant efforts made by the students in achieving the course outcomes efficiently and competently, which reflected through their graduation projects an advanced scientific proposition in line with the needs of practical reality, focusing on topics of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurial and innovative projects, as well as projects concerned with identity and heritage serving the local community, which reflects the students' awareness of the role of architecture in supporting sustainable development and responding to contemporary challenges. The students presented their projects under the following titles: "Journey of Resilience" by student Inas Ramadan, a project of an Interactive Center for Documenting Palestinian Resilience; a Multidisciplinary Center for Digital Transformations and Artificial Intelligence by student Dana Attari; the Arab Incubator for Innovative Projects and Entrepreneurship by student Sara Shwaikani; a Multi-Purpose Urban Corridor by student Abeer Zahra; and a Complex for Preserving and Revitalizing Jordanian Heritage by student Mohammed Al-Soufi.

These outstanding projects witnessed fruitful interactive discussions between the students and the evaluation committee, where the committee provided constructive feedback praising the efforts made by the students, with an emphasis on the importance of continuing to develop ideas to meet the local community needs and to enhance sustainable solutions. These discussions are part of the College of Engineering's strategy at Arab Amman University to support creativity and innovation in the field of architecture, to provide an educational environment that encourages students to face present and future challenges, and at the end of the discussions, the evaluation committee expressed its pride in the distinguished level of the students' projects, reiterating the commitment of the Department of Architectural Engineering and the College of Engineering to support creativity and innovation, and to enhance the connection between academic education and community needs, contributing to the graduation of qualified architectural engineers capable of making an effective contribution in the labor market and national development.
