Khaberni - 16 people were killed and 30 were injured in two traffic accidents in Turkey, according to authorities, today, Sunday.
A bus was involved in an accident in Antalya, the major tourist city located in southern Turkey.
The Governor of Antalya, Hulusi Şahin, said, "Unfortunately, the bus driver did not survive despite all efforts, and the death toll has risen to 9".
A previous toll reported 8 dead and 25 injured.
The bus, which was carrying 34 passengers from Tekirdağ to Antalya, overturned on the edge of a highway made slippery by rain on Sunday morning, according to the governor.
Şahin explained: "There was also fog. It is a bend that requires caution, and it seems that the bus entered it at high speed".
In another incident that occurred in Burdur, on the highway between Antalya and Isparta in southern Turkey, 7 people died and 5 were injured, according to the news agency "DHA".
