Khaberni - Citizen Ahmad Yousuf Alsarayreh sent a letter of thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa, praising her humanitarian stance and her humility in dealing with citizens.
Alsarayreh confirmed in his letter that the minister stopped her vehicle on a rainy day, and stepped out to listen to his request on the public street, breaking the norms of her position, and treated him with "great respect and regarded him as she would her father," as he described.
He noted that the minister did not just listen, but personally followed up on his case until it was fully resolved, and continued to contact him afterwards to ensure everything was going well, which he considered a rare example in public service.
Alsarayreh said that this act restored his faith in the existence of officials who leave their offices to genuinely address the concerns of the people, heart first, before their decisions, expressing his thanks and gratitude to the minister and affirming that "humility is the most notable trait of the great."
He concluded his letter by praying for Jordan and its leadership, commending the minister's efforts and her actions towards citizens.
