Israel to Americans We need many more forces to attack Iran

Khaberni  - Israel has warned the United States against entering a "bad" deal with Iran, emphasizing that any confrontation or strategic change would require much greater military strength, amid unprecedented mobilization in Israel.

Israel considers that Tehran is "trying to influence" American decision-makers through political and military displays, according to the Hebrew Channel 12, which clarified that these messages were behind the surprise visit made by the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, Eyal Zamir, to Washington over the weekend, where he held extensive talks with senior American military leaders primarily focused on the Iranian file.

The visit came after weeks of frequent trips by senior Israeli defense officials to the United States, an indicator of increasing concern about the possibility of Washington signing an agreement that does not consider Israeli interests.

During the visit, a number of senior leaders of the Israeli military participated, among them the newly appointed Air Force commander, while the current commander remained in Israel to complete potential operational plans. During the meetings, Zamir presented the Americans with intelligence information that Israel said shows Iranian attempts to rehabilitate its missile program and enhance its capabilities.

Israel affirms that it does not oppose the diplomatic path in principle, but it emphasizes three basic conditions for any agreement it considers "good": preventing Iran from possessing nuclear weapons, stopping the development and launch of missiles, and stopping the support of its proxies in the region. Tel Aviv believes that any concession on these conditions would give Tehran time and ability to rebuild its military strength.

Meanwhile, the United States continues to enhance its military presence in the Middle East by sending additional air and naval forces, in an attempt to create a military threat with "credibility". However, the Israeli message to Washington was clearer: If the goal is to overthrow the Iranian regime, the forces gathered so far are "insufficient", and there will be a need for much larger forces and broader preparedness, meaning a long and complicated escalatory scenario.

Israel considers the current moment as a "historic opportunity" that may not recur, but at the same time warns that any hasty or weak agreement could lead to counterproductive outcomes, increasing security risks for it and the entire region, at a time characterized by unprecedented tension and permanent mobilization on various fronts.
