Khaberni – Channel 12 Israel reports that the United Arab Emirates is seeking to manage the Gaza Strip at the civilian level.
The channel revealed that ongoing talks between the UAE, the United States, and Israel have reached advanced stages, and drafts of understanding have been exchanged among the concerned parties.
According to the report, the UAE intends to take over the trade file and manage all markets within the sector, purchasing goods entering Gaza through Israel, in addition to employing Israeli contractors to carry out various tasks.
The channel added that forces will be sent to secure the entire logistic infrastructure provided by the UAE, with the participation of American security companies alongside UAE security forces.
It was also mentioned that existing distribution centers will be developed and transformed into logistics centers, used to supply goods to the private sector inside Gaza.
According to the report's claim, about a week and a half ago, the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed, received an invitation from US President Donald Trump to join what is called the "Peace Council," which will oversee the management of the Gaza Strip.
