Khaberni - The new set of documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice on Friday, which includes 3 million documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, in addition to two thousand video clips and 180,000 images, reveal shocking details related to politically and economically influential figures.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch said in a press conference that the massive batch of files released on Friday represents the end of the disclosures planned by the administration of President Donald Trump under the law.
The Epstein case investigation files, which accused him of running a wide network of sexual exploitation and rape - and who was found dead in his cell in 2019 - have reignited controversy in the United States after some of them were made public.
Gates denies
On one hand, Microsoft co-founder and former CEO Bill Gates denied allegations of rape and exploitation of minors brought against him in the leaks.
The new files included some emails claiming Gates tried to hide a sexually transmitted disease from his former wife Melinda, following alleged relationships with Russian girls.
A spokesperson for Gates told the British Broadcasting Corporation "BBC" that "these allegations are untrue and ridiculous," confirming that Gates has no connection with these accusations.
Prince Andrew leaks
Some newly released emails showed that Jeffrey Epstein had asked Sarah Ferguson, the ex-wife of British Prince Andrew, to issue a statement stating he "is not a child molester," and she "was deceived in believing false accusations against him."
These correspondences date back to the period following Epstein’s 2008 conviction on charges of exploiting minors in prostitution, revealing that in August 2009, Sarah thanked Epstein for being "the brother she always wished she had," and said she "never felt as touched by the kindness of a friend as she does now."
The documents also show that Epstein received and sent several news articles concerning the former Duchess, regarding her divorce from the king’s brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and her financial situation.
It is noted that Andrew stepped down from his royal duties in 2019 and was stripped of the title "His Royal Highness" and the prince title, while the former Duchess Sarah also faced criticism for writing to Epstein after his conviction.
Connection with the Mossad
The documents include several conversations between Epstein and former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, with references to "the Mossad" in both parties’ discussions on two occasions.
According to the documents, Epstein asked Barak in an email sent on December 17, 2018, to "explicitly clarify that he does not work for the Mossad."
In another message dated November 9, 2017, Epstein wrote to Barak "Did Boyes ask you to help find former Mossad agents for conducting dirty investigations? This topic recurs often in the press."
In response, Barak did not address this issue, merely requesting contact from Epstein.
Suspected suicide
The latest documents released include emails between investigators about Epstein's death, including a note from one investigator stating his last message does not seem like a suicide note, and multiple investigations concluded that Epstein's death was a suicide.
The records also reveal a ploy used by prison staff to deceive the media gathered outside, during the removal of Epstein's body, as boxes and sheets were used to form what appeared to be a body, and placed in a white truck bearing a sign "Office of the Chief Medical Examiner."
Journalists followed the truck as it left the prison, unaware that Epstein's real body had been transported in a black vehicle that left unnoticed.
