An employee unaware of her pregnancy gets surprised by her delivery at her workplace

Khaberni - An exceptional incident occurred at a FedEx facility in Grimes, Iowa, where an employee gave birth unexpectedly at her workplace, without prior knowledge of her pregnancy.

The story began on the morning of Monday, January 26, when the employee "Amethyst Blumberg" was finishing her shift at 8:00 AM, before she was suddenly hit by severe pain, preventing her from standing up, prompting her to seek help by opening the door.

The woman realized she was in labor when she felt the baby's head, which completely shocked her as she was completely unaware of the pregnancy, according to People magazine.

Medical reports recorded that the paramedics arrived at 8:29 AM, and the official birth took place at exactly 8:33 AM.

The newborn was named "Onyx King Easterly," weighing six pounds and eight ounces, and measuring nineteen inches long, while an ambulance transported the mother and her child to the hospital to receive necessary care, where tests confirmed they were in a stable and good health condition.

The mother of two also revealed that she didn't experience any pregnancy symptoms with her last child, unlike her first experience which included all the usual symptoms.

Blumberg said she was losing weight at work and didn't feel anything until she started experiencing labor-related back pain, then the movement of the child as he descended, describing her child as "perfect," and proudly adding, "our FedEx baby".

It should be noted that similar cases have recently been recorded in the United States, including a woman from Illinois who also gave birth on Christmas Day without knowing she was pregnant.
