Khaberni – The journalist specialized in judicial affairs, Ghazi Al-Marayat, narrated the story of a 14-year-old minor girl who was assaulted by a person, thus fulfilling all the elements of the crimes of indecency and rape.
Al-Marayat explained that the young man accused of the assault was arrested, and he is the main suspect in the case.
He added that the accused asked the girl to file a complaint against another person and to accuse him alongside the assault, in exchange for money, noting that the girl agreed to his request and filed the complaint, which led to the detention of both individuals in connection with the case.
Al-Marayat continued that the girl's conscience awakened several months later, so she went to the relatives of the second person and affirmed his innocence from any assault, confirming her readiness to amend her statements in court.
