Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that a report was received by the Civil Defense Operations Room in West Irbid indicating that three children, two of whom are seven years old and the third child ten years old, drowned in one of the agricultural ponds in the Salihaat / Al-Karima area in the Irbid governorate.
Immediately, specialized teams moved to the location and the children were retrieved, confirming their death. The ambulance teams proceeded to transport the deceased to Abu Ubaida Government Hospital.
The Public Security Directorate urges all citizens to stay away from valleys, floodwaters, water accumulations, agricultural ponds, and running water channels and to monitor children, prohibiting them from approaching these areas to prevent the recurrence of such incidents, God forbid.
