Khaberni - Iranian official media reported that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi denied on Wednesday any contact with the American special envoy Steve Witkoff in the recent days or requesting negotiations.
And the Foreign Minister said that Tehran is still in touch with the intermediary countries that "conduct consultations".
US President Donald Trump said, on Tuesday, that "another war fleet" is heading towards Iran, and he hopes that Tehran will reach an agreement with Washington.
Trump said in a statement, "There is another wonderful war fleet sailing beautifully towards Iran right now."
He added, "I hope they strike a deal".
Trump reiterated his statements about striking a deal, saying in earlier statements to Axios that Washington is closely watching Tehran, "They want to make a deal. I know it. They want to talk".
