Iscos Injury Turns into a Baffling Medical Mystery

Khaberni -  The "nightmare" of injury continues to haunt Real Betis star, Isco Alarcon, with two full months passing since his absence from the fields, amid increasing doubts about the date of his return to service.

The incident dates back to a Europa League match against Dutch FC Utrecht, following a strong collision with his Moroccan teammate Nordin Amrabat, which resulted in a laceration requiring 7 stitches, along with "severe edema" reaching the ankle and cartilage damage.

According to Spanish reports issued today, the former Real Madrid player had been forced to revert to using crutches again, reflecting the complexity of his healing process.

Although the optimistic forecasts after Isco underwent surgery (following the failure of conservative treatment) suggested a return within a month, the reality seems different; as the player has not yet set foot on the pitch to start the rehabilitation stage, raising questions about his readiness.

This prolonged setback comes shortly after Betis announced the renewal of the "magician's" contract until 2028, causing the team to miss its technical leader at a critical time of the season, leaving a significant gap in the "Verdiblancos" midfield.
