Khaberni - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated his rejection of the establishment of a Palestinian state, emphasizing that Israel will impose full security control on the area extending from the Jordan River to the sea, including the Gaza Strip.
In a speech following the retrieval of the body of his last soldier from Gaza, Netanyahu said that his government's top priority in the next phase is "disarming the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and completely ridding the sector of weapons," promising to achieve this "either the easy way or the hard way."
Regarding the reconstruction of the sector, Netanyahu ruled out any plans to repair Gaza at the current time until the disarmament process is fully complete. He also expressed his categorical rejection of the presence of any international forces, specifically from Qatar or Turkey, within the sector.
A Stronger Strike for Iran
Netanyahu addressed the "War of Resurrection" (the Israeli occupation war on the Gaza Strip), considering that Tel Aviv succeeded in delivering "massive strikes" to Iran's interior and to Tehran's arms in the region.
He warned the Iranian leadership of the risks of planning a new strike against Israel, threatening a response "with a strength that Iran has not known before."
Israeli Prisoners' Dossier
Regarding the dossier of Israeli prisoners in Gaza, Netanyahu claimed that "intense military pressure" enabled Tel Aviv to retrieve the detainees, attacking voices within the Israeli security system that had earlier called for responding to Hamas' demands as the only way to retrieve the prisoners.
Netanyahu stated, "When we are attacked, we respond with war, and we are victorious and capable of achieving victory. Yesterday we closed a circle, and today we continue to work to ensure Israel's stability."
He added that he met with several families of prisoners who pleaded with him to retrieve them, claiming that "wise decisions" and the bravery of the soldiers and officers enabled this to be achieved.
Praise for Killing Civilians
In the context of praising the soldiers, Netanyahu described the soldier "Ran Gavili" as a "hero" - the last body of a prisoner retrieved by the army from Gaza - noting that he "fought with all his strength and killed 14 civilians in Gaza" before he himself fell in battle. He concluded his speech by thanking Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, Gal Hirsch the coordinator of efforts to retrieve prisoners, along with leaders of the Mossad, the Shin Bet, and the police, and especially mentioned President Donald Trump for his support.
Netanyahu's statements come at a time when the occupation forces continue their military operations in the Gaza Strip, amid international warnings of the occupation's plans to impose a permanent security and political reality that aborts the Palestinian people's aspirations to establish their independent state.
